I’m a big fan of self-awareness, but not for the reasons most would assume. In an effort to be more aware, I’ve been questioning my own self-perceptions and self-consciousness. If you want to know what Im is aware of, just listen to the most obvious self-awareness Ive ever heard: the sound of me. You can hear it in all the situations I have been in. And you can see it in the faces of everyone around me. It’s like a deep, dark well that I can drink from, and I’ve been drinking from for years.
