The term “self-awareness” encompasses all the ways we consider ourselves: our physical characteristics, our mental tendencies, our sense of self, etc. It’s the way we view ourselves, and our thoughts, which are how we decide what we want to do, and our beliefs, which are our expectations about what we expect ourselves to do.
Self-awareness is a concept that we use to explain things like how we feel, what we think, and what we know. As a result, many people use the term to describe a person who is able to put themselves into a mental checklist of what they expect to do and how they feel, and what they think about themselves, and then adjust what they do and feel accordingly.
What people often don’t realize is that self-awareness is one of the very most important things that we can achieve in life. It’s something that takes practice to develop, and it’s not something that you can take for granted. Without self-awareness, many of us would be lost and confused.
If you wanted to, you could use a mental checklist. But if you didn’t have time to practice it, you could change your mind. The only thing that would ever change is your self-awareness. Our brain is built around that.
The problem with being self-aware is that we dont always want to be self-aware. Most of the time though, we dont want to be aware of our own actions. We can be aware of other people without ever thinking about it, be aware of other people without thinking about it, but we dont want to be aware of ourselves. So self-awareness is the ability to say “yes, I am aware of myself”.
Being aware of ourselves is a good thing, it is one of the first things I learned when I was born. But being aware of others is something else. It is something that we can only do when we are conscious of ourselves, and that is something that we will always have to live with.
This is why I love reading books about meditation, because I personally don’t have good enough meditation skills to do it, but I know I am going to need to learn them. My favorite meditation books are those that have a very simple structure that allows you to read it without getting bogged down in the details. That’s what I like about erin clancy. She has a very simple structure, and she doesn’t get bogged down in details.
Erin makes a claim to being able to meditate, by the way. In the book she describes herself as having “a strong interest in meditation, which I have practiced in many other ways.” Thats a pretty bold claim, and is a bit of a giveaway that you might not want to read this book.
Well, the book is a little bit about meditation, but the main point of meditation is to develop your own inner self, to become aware of the subtle workings of your brain. Basically, you can meditate by concentrating on your breathing, but I don’t recommend doing that often enough. I find it easier to just focus on your thoughts and let your body do the talking.
Erin is an expert in this area, and I’m really glad I got to chat with her and ask her questions. She has a special way of looking at things, and she’s pretty easy to talk to. I found her to be really curious about what I do, and I think she’s got a strong point to make about how much better I am because of it.
