You can’t help but compare yourself to others. That is part of the human condition. It is also a natural part of how we develop, as we are all born with our unique brain structures that have been customized to fit our unique personalities, as well as our different experiences and backgrounds.
Why? Because they are human, and they can see the world through the eyes of others.
Humans develop through a process of trial and error, so the human brain is not always 100% functional. Just because our brains are not 100% functional does not mean that we are not capable of learning and growth. But we are not always the best versions of ourselves. We just happen to be the best versions of ourselves that we can be.
We are born with certain cognitive limitations, but once those limitations are removed, we can develop our own unique, unique minds. It’s as if we were born with different colors, but then choose to wear those colors to make ourselves more visible. This is similar to the way people have different personalities, but then choose to act in different ways to make themselves more visible.
This is why people often get stuck and do things differently, because it is hard to make ourselves more visible.
