I love jessica donnelly’s book, “Self-Awareness: A Guide for Living in the Now”. She is a master at putting into words the most important elements of self-awareness. Self-awareness is important because it helps us stay on track and prevents us from doing stupid things that we later regret.
Most importantly, self-awareness helps us to not take ourselves too seriously. This is a good thing because it makes us less likely to do stupid things and to become overwhelmed by the things we do, which is the exact opposite of what we want.
