I had the opportunity to interview Jonathan Jacob, the guy behind the new restaurant chain Jonny’s in New York City. Jonny’s is a modern take on a traditional Italian restaurant. The interior design is reminiscent of a bistro with an open kitchen, and the menu is designed to offer a variety of traditional and modern dishes.
Jonnys is a “foodie” concept. It’s a restaurant that serves everything from salads to pizza to pasta. The menu is constantly changing so it really depends on what the chef wants, but the concept of a typical Italian restaurant is to offer a wide variety of food. We’re going to be seeing similar concepts in New York and other cities.
