The story of richardson-mendelson is set in a fictional district court in New York City, where a woman is accused of murdering her husband. richard, the prosecutor, is a well-intentioned man with a passion for justice, but his passion for justice is at a dead end. Judge edwina, a young woman who has a passion for justice as well, is convinced that the case is going to be resolved quickly.
richard is a kind man, but he is not a good man. He has a deep, dark obsession with justice, and he will stop at nothing to ensure that justice is served. richard is the right man for the right job. The only problem is richard has a tendency to judge people too harshly, and he takes it out on Edwina, the woman with whom he has this attraction.
edwina is a lovely woman, she makes good use of her time on the bench, and she is a friend to richard. But even though they both love justice, they both don’t seem to be able to be friends. Their relationship has been strained because richard is obsessed with having a high profile case like this one, and she doesn’t want to get caught in the crossfire.
Richard’s obsession has led him to miss opportunities to get an acquittal, and he’s also got a lot of bad blood with a lot of the other people on the high profile murder case. So its no surprise that the two of them are constantly at odds, and the tension escalates with each new case that comes along. Edwina feels more and more like the outsider in this case, and she feels the brunt of richard’s bad temper.
People have been very clear in saying that Richardson is a very polarizing person, and that they dont know if it is for the right reasons or not. The latest case is certainly a hard case to get a verdict on, and the judge seems to be saying that there is no way he is going to let Richards go free, even if Richardson feels like he has to.
I think the case against Richardson is a bit more interesting than the others. It is, however, clear to me that Richardson feels the worst about the whole situation, and that the judge will let him go because he has no real crime. The judge seems to be arguing that, because he has no real criminal record, and in fact is a good citizen, it isn’t wrong to let him off because he is just doing what he thinks is best for the citizens of the city.
