I’ve been working on a new book about this very topic for quite some time. But I’m excited that I finally got the chance to write about it. I’m here to give you a brief summary of some research I did on the subject. I’m a big fan of the research that has been done into the topic.
I think the first thing that people should take away from this is that most of the research on the subject is not particularly solid. It seems to be a question of correlation and association. What people have found in the various studies is that the people who are most likely to go on a vacation are the ones who also are the least likely to worry about being followed.
To sum up all that research, I think the best thing to do is to be aware of your surroundings and the people you’re around. If you’re in a place where your paranoia and anxiety is high, it’s going to be harder to be cautious about who you’re with. If you’re around someone who seems to be more relaxed, you may find that you’re less likely to be followed.
The research is that the more you interact with the people you dont know, the less likely you are to be followed, not only by the people you know, but by random strangers as well. If you have to make a lot of new friends, then you might want to work on your paranoia and anxiety levels.
What happens when you start meeting people in new places and in new social circles? When you do get followed, then you’re more likely to be followed again. The reason that this happens is when we meet someone in a place that we didnt meet before, we think theyre going to be a risk. If we meet someone in a new place we dont know, we think they’re safe.
I know that this sounds counter intuitive, but it’s actually very true. We look for similar things in new places. We look out for things that people are doing that we think are risky. If you don’t have this paranoia and anxiety in your life, then you should probably have it in your new home.
The problem with this paranoia is that you could be wrong. You could be walking through the grocery store when someone enters your life and be in the wrong building. You could have a bad interaction with someone in a place you didnt meet before. In order to be 100% sure youre doing something right, you need to be 100% sure you know who you are meeting. A friend of mine once told me a story of a guy who was trying to get a job in a grocery store.

In the new Deathloop trailer, we are introduced to the Visionaries, the party-goers who have locked the island into one repeating day so they can piss about for eternity. But we need to be totally sure that we know who we are meeting before we can get all the information we need. So we meet with Colt Vahn, the leader of the Visionaries. He knows the island is doomed, but he doesn’t know why.
Colt is a young guy with a penchant for booze and guns. He’s also a bit of a coward. He’s going to meet the Visionaries because he’s scared of their leader, a very powerful and cunning guy. That’s why Colt is wearing a bright red jacket just like he did when he was a kid.
