This is a great little story for when you are trying to be self-aware. We recently went to a restaurant with my daughter, and she had asked to try some of the appetizers. So of course I agreed. So she sat down and placed her order. Then, before we even got to the appetizers we started to talk about what order we were going to place our order.
The waiter came over with our plates and asked if we wanted to order by ourselves or with others. I thought we were going to have to order with others, so I ordered with someone else. Then I looked up, and it was obvious that I couldn’t order anything without looking up.
